/noticias.info/ The Kerry-Edwards campaign takes to the airwaves this week with a new 30-second television ad revealing the real reason George W. Bush attacks the Kerry health care plan.

It’s because W’s wrong choices have done nothing to bring down costs or the uninsured and led to the largest Medicare premium hike in history – giving the president nothing to run on but desperate, misleading attacks that he hopes will hide the truth.

“When it comes to health care, George Bush’s wrong choices have taken America in the wrong direction,” said Kerry-Edwards campaign spokesperson Phil Singer. “Thanks to his wrong choices, costs are skyrocketing and seniors are paying more for prescription drugs while drug companies get a billion dollar giveaway. The truth is, John Kerry will move America in a new direction with a health care plan that cuts costs for families and businesses and expands access to quality care.”

The Kerry-Edwards health care plan will lower family premiums by up to $1,000 a year, cut waste from the system, lower the cost of prescription drugs to provide real relief to seniors and use targeted tax cuts to extend affordable, high-quality coverage to 95 percent of Americans, including every child. And because John Kerry and John Edwards believe that everyone's health is equally important, they will provide all Americans with access to the same coverage that members of Congress give themselves.
