Bordeaux show faith in Pavon

/noticias.info/ FC Girondins de Bordeaux have awarded coach Michel Pavon a one-year extension to his contract which will keep him at the club until June 2007.

"We get on well and we fully trust him," said Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud of the 36-year-old former Bordeaux midfield player who took over from Elie Baup in October 2004. Bordeaux missed out on UEFA club competition this season and occupy 10th position in France's Ligue 1 with nine games remaining, and Triaud added that Pavon's main priority was to get the club back into Europe as soon as possible. notas_de_prensa_archivo
