EVERTON: LAST MAN OUT!
/noticias.info/ The Everton party will leave Austria this evening after the friendly against
FC Gamlitz but it will take Bob Sefton a day and a half to get home!
Bob is the driver who brought all the kit and equipment over from Bellefield
last week and his return journey will be significantly longer than the
players' flight from Graz to Liverpool.
"I will leave straight after the match and stop overnight somewhere in
Germany in the Munich area until the morning and then continue the drive
back to England," he told evertonfc.com.
"The whole journey normally takes between 24 and 36 hours but it's something I'm used to so it's not really a problem."
Bob considers himself something of an Everton lucky charm and he is hoping that his presence this week will have the same effect as it has done in the
past.
"I was the driver three years ago when we finished 7th and I was here last
summer too," he explained.
"I missed out in the year in between and we didn't have a very good season, so there may be something in it!"
The amount of kit that was hauled over from the UK was immense but Bob
declared that it will all be ready for first thing Tuesday morning.
"The last of the stuff will be washed and dried before we leave the hotel so
that every item that gets returned to Bellefield will be ready to use again
straight away - apart, of course, from the match kit this evening," he said.
"It's been a great week and we've worked hard but I've enjoyed it. It's been
a pleasure to be part of the Everton party for a week." notas_de_prensa_archivo
