CHELSEA FC: Record home fan attendance

/noticias.info/ Chelsea can confirm that today's attendance against Aston Villa will have the largest "home fan" support since 1986.

The club has sold more tickets to their own fans than for any game in 20 years. Subtracting the away allocation, the Chelsea support will total 41,032.

The only seats left unsold were 165 from the away allocation and some in the Millennium Suites. These may still be sold today if segregation issues allow. The total attendance is already at 42,146, with a maximum attendance following the ground reconfiguration, of 42,360.

This beats the Newcastle Utd match last season when the attendance was 42,328 with 40,751 home fans, the biggest all seated attendance at Stamford Bridge since 1986.
