IRAQ: Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of New Ambassadors of Italy and Norway

/noticias.info/ Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received on 3 April 2006 Mr. Maurizio Milani, the new ambassador of Italy to Iraq, and Mr. Sverre Stub, the new Ambassador of Norway to Iraq, each separately. The two Ambassadors presented copies of their credentials to the Minister.

Mr. Zebari wished the two Ambassadors success in their new assignments, indicating the Foreign Ministry's readiness to offer every possible assistance to enable them to perform their work in the manner that serves the interests of their countries and Iraq.

The development of bilateral relations with these two countries in various areas was discussed in the meeting, and the developments of security and political situation in Iraq were reviewed.
