Royals Charities & Baseball Tomorrow Fund team up to collect donations

/noticias.info/ KANSAS CITY -- Royals Charities and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund will team up for a Baseball Equipment Drive on Friday, April 28 prior to the Royals 7:10 p.m. game against the Oakland Athletics.

Royals Charities volunteers will be collecting items from 5-7:30 p.m. at Gates A and B of Kauffman Stadium. New and gently used baseball and softball equipment that is collected will be donated to the East YMCA Little League Baseball Program. In addition, the YMCA program will receive a $5,000 donation from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund.

All types of equipment are requested, including new and used gloves, baseballs, bases, batting tees, bats, helmets, shoes and uniforms.

Fans donating equipment will receive a Baseball Tomorrow Fund magnet while supplies last and will be entered into a drawing for a game-worn jersey autographed by a Royals player. The jersey will be awarded that evening during the game.
