PSV: Cocu pens contacts extension

/noticias.info/ PSV MEDIA - 35-year-old Phillip Cocu and PSV have reached agreement on a one-year contract extension. PSV Chairman Rob Westerhof confirmed the news to PSV Media on Friday afternoon.

Phillip Cocu has pledged his future to PSV, as he will sign a new one-year deal that will keep him at the Eindhoven outfit until the summer of 2007. "This is exciting news for the whole club. Phillip is a key player and has made major contributions to the successes of the team the past two seasons. I am delighted he is staying on and that he will place his outstanding qualities in the service of PSV for one more year”, announced Chairman Westerhof to PSV Media. Cocu, who joined PSV two years ago, has now put an end to all speculations by completing the contract extension.
