INTER: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: FIGO: "LET'S WIN TOGETHER AGAINST SPARTAK"

/noticias.info/ MILAN - Luis Figo spoke on Inter Channel after the Nerazzurri's 2-1 Serie A win at home to Catania. He said: "It was a hard game this afternoon because when you fall behind you always have to do a bit extra to come back and win. The team gave a good reply and in the end it is important to have earned three points. We might not have played that well today, but it is always important to win after a ten-day break.

"Many fouls against me? Fouls exist in football. Sometimes the whistle goes and sometimes it doesn't. But in general, the referee did well today. However, it is fundamental to have won and be back on top of the table."

On his fitness, Figo said: "Physically I feel better. I have worked a lot in these days and I feel in better shape than ten days ago.

"Some say we are not a united group? These are people who want to destabilise the environment. I have been here for a year and a half, and this environment is marvellous."

Inter are at home again on Wednesday with Spartak Moscow in the Champions League. "It will be very important for us to feel the support of our fans. We must win all three points against Spartak. It will definitely be nicer if we all do it together." notas_de_prensa_archivo
