FOOTBALL EUROPE: Gattuso sidelined with knee damage

Gattuso, who limped out of the game with 15 minutes to play, is likely to miss Milan's UEFA Champions League trip to AEK Athens FC on 21 November after a scan revealed slight ligament damage. However, the 28-year-old should return to action for the home game against LOSC Lille Métropole on 6 December. Gattuso joins Kakha Kaladze, Massimo Ambrosini and Alessandro Nesta on Milan's growing injury list.
