AC MILAN: TO THE FANS
Brocchi asks the fans to stay close, as the Rossoneri push ahead to a better second half of the season.
/noticias.info/ Cristian Brocchi spoke from a press conference held at the New Milan Point:
The only thing I can ask from our fans is that they stay close to us. We are not happy because things are difficult, it is the first time that we are actually looking forward to the break. However, I am convinced that things are going to change and we will have a great second half of the season.
I will be returning to Florence on Saturday and it will be emotional. I will find the fans that cheered me on and I thank them for that with affection. We know that we will be coming up against a team that will have an especially great stimulus at home and will want to win. We will do everything we can to keep that from happening.
As far as the draw goes, I feel positive. I am not afraid, just excited. We will show that we are the strongest team out there. There are certain situations that can’t be avoided at the moment. However, if we had won 1-0 on Sunday people would have said that Milan are on the comeback. A win would have helped us from a psychological point of view.
We understand the strength of the club. The problems can’t be resolved all in one game, but winning on Saturday would be very useful. The criticism always arrives in difficult moments, but that’s normal. We have to respond, not with our words, but with our talent and the humility and sprit of the group and the personality of the individual players. We are thinking about the game and that’s it, the club will think about the market because from our point of view it doesn’t make a difference as far as overcoming this difficult situation. notas_de_prensa_archivo
