LIVERPOOL FC: DUDEK: I COULD BE WORLD'S BEST

/noticias.info/ Jerzy Dudek says he could be the best goalkeeper in the world - if the critics would leave him alone.
The Liverpool number one is still on a high following his match winning display in Istanbul last week when he made a sensational double save from Andriy Shevchenko in the closing stages of injury time and then kept out two Milan penalties to win the Cup for Liverpool.

Dudek admits it was the best night of his career, but he knows the speculation will continue over his Anfield future with manager Rafael Benitez reportedly closing in on the signing of Villareal's Jose Reina.

Dudek said: "I have had criticism and it is never a comfortable situation when that happens to you. You are always on your toes, small mistakes get blown out of all proportion and become big ones.

"But you learn to just play for yourself and what is the greatest club in the world - Liverpool. Then you hope you win.

"I admit sometimes it is difficult to stay focused when people are talking about another 'keeper. That is never comfortable for me - but when I don't feel pressure I can be the best in the world." notas_de_prensa_archivo
