EVERTON: HECTIC SCHEDULE
/noticias.info/ Joseph Yobo fears he is in for a grueling summer with little time for vital rest and recuperation due to important World Cup qualifying matches he is set to play in for Nigeria.
The Blues defender is needed by his country for games away against Rwanda on June 5 and then almost a fortnight later he is due to play at home against Angola.
That schedule means that Yobo would have less than two weeks to recover before he is due back on Merseyside to begin preparations for the new season with his club.
The Nigerian accepts that it will be tough especially when you also consider the physically demanding campaign he has just finished with the Blues and he will be talking to both his club and international manager to discuss the situation.
24-year-old Yobo told evertonfc.com: “I’m very busy with Nigeria over the close season so I’m trying to see how I’m going to fit in my schedule.
“It’s very difficult for me. It’s going to be a very tough summer for me. I’m going to speak to the national team and the gaffer here. I’m just looking forward to next season.” notas_de_prensa_archivo
