EVERTON: WATSON WANTED?
/noticias.info/ Everton’s Steve Watson is reportedly being chased by two north-west Premiership sides with a third club also keeping tabs on his situation.
The out-of-contract midfielder is believed to be a target of top-flight newcomers Wigan Athletic whilst Blackburn Rovers are keen to take him to Ewood Park.
It also being rumoured that Sunderland would want to take the Geordie to the Stadium of Light as they look to bolster their side with experience ahead of their return to the Premiership.
Watson is free to leave Goodison Park this summer, though he has been offered the chance to extend his stay on Merseyside five years after arriving from Aston Villa.
A decision on whether or not he is to take up the offer of remaining with the Blues is expected within the next few days as it is with the other out-of-contract players at the club.
Duncan Ferguson, David Weir, Alan Stubbs, Alessandro Pistone, Leon Osman and Gary Naysmith have all been offered new deals after helping Everton to a fourth placed finish. notas_de_prensa_archivo
