AC MILAN: JANKULOVSKI JOINS MILAN
/noticias.info/ Marek Jankulovski has become Milan’s latest signing, with the left-sided player moving to the San Siro from Udinese on a four-year contract which will run until June 30, 2009. The Czech Republic international started his career at Banik Ostrava where he played for six years before transferring to Napoli and then Udinese, scoring 16 goals in three seasons and playing an average of 30 games a term. At 28, Jankulovski represents an important investment for the Rossoneri following the capture of Johann Vogel. A key player in the midfield for PSV Eindhoven, Vogel is also the captain of the Swiss national team. In his career, apart from a six-year-spell at PSV, the 28 year old has also played for Zurich side Grasshopper-Club, where he made his debut in the Swiss league at the age of sixteen and went on to win three titles. In 1999, he moved to Holland and clinched four championships. He also made an early debut with the national team at the age of 18 and just four years later was handed the captain’s armband. Born in Geneva on March 8, 1977, Vogel has finally fulfilled a career wish as he revealed: 'This is a dream come true: Milan are a top club, it couldn’t have gone better for me.’ notas_de_prensa_archivo
