Football Europe: Czaplár wants success with Panionios

/noticias.info/ Josef Czaplár is the new head coach of Panionios NFC, the Czech trainer having signed a two-year contract with the Greek club.

Title talk
The 42-year-old led unheralded FC Slovan Liberec to the Czech title in 2002 and said at his presentation at the Gipedo Neas Smirnis stadium that he wanted to achieve similar success with Panionios. "I want to do the same with Panionios that we did with Slovan three years ago. We have two months now to work hard and lay the foundations."

Slavia stint
Czaplár was more recently coach at SK Slavia Praha, leaving the capital club in April. As a player, he is best associated with FK Dukla Praha (now FK Marila Príbram). Panionios have also signed 23-year-old left-back Erkan Atilgan from Germany's TSV 1860 München. Atilgan joins on a one-year deal with a two-year extension option. notas_de_prensa_archivo
