LIVERPOOL FC: MCCLAREN DELIGHTED WITH REDS OPENER

/noticias.info/ Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren says he is delighted to welcome European champions Liverpool to the Riverside Stadium for the first Premiership match of the 2005/06 season.
The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 13, and the Boro boss said his club couldn't have wished for a better match to start the new season.

McClaren is also a good friend of Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.
