UEFA Cup: All change at Allianssi

/noticias.info/ The 39-year-old Swiss coach Thierry Pister is to take charge of Finnish side AC Allianssi.

New investors
The 46-year-old Ari Tiittanen will stand down as coach after Wednesday's league match against Tampere United. His departure after three and a half years comes as little surprise after new investors joined the club earlier this month and appointed Belgian Olivier Suray as managing director. Pister played 347 matches in Belgian football, and has worked as a coach at RAEC Mons, KSK Beveren and KV Red Star Waasland.

New faces
Six new players have arrived in recent weeks. Swiss striker Jean-Pierre La Placa, Ukrainian forward Serguei Omelianovitch, along with four Belgians - midfielder Hocine Chebaïki, defenders Mustapha Douai and Kasim Yildiz, and goalkeeper Grégory Goffin. Allianssi will play CS Pétange of Luxembourg in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round next month over two legs on 14 and 28 July. notas_de_prensa_archivo
