UEFA Cup: Güven taken by Besiktas

/noticias.info/ Turkish giants Besiktas JK have continued their spending spree by acquiring Istanbulspor AS midfielder Güven Kocabal.

Loyal servant
The 26-year-old, who had been with Istanbulspor since 1997, has agreed a one-year contract with an option for a further 12 months. Güven had been targeted by several of Turkey's top clubs despite being hampered by foot injuries in recent seasons.

New faces
In the 2004/05 campaign, Güven was out of action between December and April but still managed to make 14 appearances as Istanbulspor were relegated. He becomes the fifth new face at Besiktas, following midfield duo Ali Tandogan and Adem Dursun, goalkeeper Volkan Ünlü and striker Souleymane Youla. notas_de_prensa_archivo
