AIR CONTRACTORS : BAC Express fully integrated with Air Contractors

/noticias.info/ August 1st 2004 saw the completion of the BAC Express integration into Air Contractors (ACL). On July 31 the last remaining F27 was added to the ACL Operating Certificate and official operations at BAC Horley in the UK were closed.


For BAC staff this was the end of over 10 years of considerable growth towards establishing a company that was highly regarded for it's customer focus and exciting work place.

For ACL this was a challenging process but fortunately key members of the BAC team have joined ACL and were able to assist in making this transition as seamless as possible. The completion of this transition brought many synergies from both operations together. As a result the ACL operation has reverted to a capacity similar to that pre 2001, with 18 aircraft over 5 fleet types (3 A300’s, 7 Shorts 360’s, 1 L382G Hercules, 3 ATR’s, and 4 F27’s).
