INDEPENDENCE AIR:FLYi, Inc. Reports July 2005 Traffic

/noticias.info/ Dulles, VA, (August 3, 2005) - FLYi, Inc. (NASDAQ/NM: FLYI) reported preliminary July 2005 passenger traffic results today for low-fare airline Independence Air. The airline generated 356.1 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while available seat miles (ASMs) were 451.0 million. For the month, 545,947 passengers were carried. Independence Air load factor for July was at 79.0 percent, compared to 47.0 percent in July 2004—Independence Air’s first full month of service.

For the seven months ended July 31, 2005, RPMs were at 1.8 billion, while ASMs were 2.7 billion. The company carried 3,387,021 passengers during the first seven months of 2005.
