RYANAIR TO THE RESCUE OF STRANDED EASYJET PASSENGERS IN SHANNON
/noticias.info/ Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 low fares airline, today (Thursday, 4th August 2005) announced it would come to the rescue after high fare airline Easyjet halved its flights between Ireland and the UK.
Speaking this morning, Peter Sherrard, Ryanair’s Head of Communications said:
“When Easyjet came to Ireland there was no demand for their high fares and poor punctuality. Now that the easy come-easy go airline has made a turncoat retreat from its Shannon London routes by cutting its schedule in half, Ryanair is delighted to announce that it will be offering, 5 daily frequencies on bigger aircraft with more choice, better punctuality and fares that are 50% lower than Easyjet’s. Our advice to Easyjet passengers that don’t want to be left stranded is simple; book your flights on www.ryanair.com for fares that are always 50% lower than Easyjet… the “easy come-easy go” airline”. notas_de_prensa_archivo
