LIVERPOOL FC : NO REGRETS FOR KIRKY

/noticias.info/ Chris Kirkland today insisted he had no regrets over his decision to join West Brom on loan.
Kirkland knew he was well down the pecking order at Liverpool following the arrivals of Pepe Reina and Scott Carson to compete with Jerzy Dudek for a place in the Anfield goal.

He will spend the coming campaign at The Hawthorns and is scheduled to make his debut for Bryan Robson's men in a friendly against Atletico Madrid tomorrow.

"I have no regrets about leaving Liverpool on loan," said the 24 year old. "They made it quite clear, and I knew myself, that I would need to look elsewhere.

"The gaffer said I wouldn't get much of a look in and it all depends what your appetite for the game is.

"I could have sat there and picked up my money but I'm not like that - I love training and playing. Bryan Robson and West Brom gave me the chance and hopefully I can repay them for that."
