LIVERPOOL FC: DEFENDER LEAVES ON LOAN

/noticias.info/ Liverpool have confirmed that defender Carl Medjani has completed a deal to go back to France on a year's loan with FC Metz.
The French centre half, who was an unused substitute for the first team during the Champions League tie against FBK Kaunas in Lithuania, will be on loan at Metz until June 2006.

Last season Medjani spent a year on loan in France with Lorient.

Medjani was signed by Gerard Houllier in the summer of 2003 from Saint Etienne but has yet to make a first team appearance in a competitive match. He has played in three first team friendlies against Wrexham last season, and this year against Bayer Leverkusen and the full 90 minutes against Olympiacos. notas_de_prensa_archivo
