UEFA Cup: Carevic seals Stuttgart switch

/noticias.info/ German Bundesliga outfit VfB Stuttgart have signed Croatian midfielder Mario Carevic from Saudi club Al Ittihad for an undisclosed fee.

'Extremely skilful'
The 23-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, returning to Europe less than 12 months after leaving HNK Hajduk Split. "He's an extremely skilful player, and he gives us a few more tactical options," Stuttgart general manager Herbert Briem said of the left-footed player.

UEFA Cup hopes
Once a key member of the Croatia Under-21 side, Carevic earned two senior call-ups at the end of 2004 and the move could reignite his international hopes.
