MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT OPERATIONS AND HAZE SITUATION

/noticias.info/ Malaysia Airlines’ flight operations in Malaysia, in particular Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), have been on schedule this week despite the haze occurrence in some areas around KLIA and Kuala Lumpur, the nation’s capital.

As at 1200 hours today (Malaysian local time), there has been no cancellation, retiming or diversions of Malaysia Airlines’ scheduled flights at KLIA.

The haze has been clearing considerably over the last 24 hours and the haze alert declared two days ago in two affected districts on the outskirts of the Malaysian capital has been lifted this morning.

Malaysia Airlines is continuing to work closely with the regulatory authorities and Tourism Malaysia to monitor the haze situation and, where necessary, will provide regular updates to customers on the matter.
