UEFA Cup: Hazurov injury leaves Litex short

/noticias.info/ Bulgarian side PFC Litex Lovech have suffered a major injury blow ahead of their UEFA Cup second qualifying round tie against Croatian opponents HNK Rijeka, with striker Kostadin Hazurov ruled out for at least four months.

Broken ankle
The 20-year-old tore ligaments and broke a bone in his ankle during Sunday's 2-1 league defeat at champions PFC CSKA Sofia. He will undergo surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined until the new year at the earliest.
