EMIRATES STADIUM TOPPING OUT CEREMONY

/noticias.info/ Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing international airlines, today joined their partners Arsenal Football Club to mark the landmark Topping Out Ceremony at Emirates Stadium, and to witness the first ever kick of a football in the club’s new north London home.

Joining representatives from Arsenal and builders Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd was Maurice Flanagan, Emirates Vice Chairman and Group President, who was delighted to have been invited to take part in the unique event and to be one of the first people to see a ball kicked in Emirates Stadium.

During the event, Mr. Flanagan gave a short speech outlining how proud Emirates Airline is to be involved with Arsenal in a project that will be a stunning addition to the London skyline, and to world sport, commenting: “It was just over nine months ago that Emirates announced our partnership with Arsenal on Emirates Stadium, the largest sponsorship agreement ever seen in British football and one of the most significant in world sport."

A major milestone in the creation of Emirates Stadium has been reached in today’s Topping Out Ceremony. Emirates would like to congratulate everyone involved from the teams at Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd and Arsenal for the hard work and dedication that brings us to this stage in the project’s development.

“With just a year to go until the official opening I know that excitement levels are rising around the world, nowhere more so than across our network of staff and passengers in 77 destinations across 54 countries, as we count down to the opening date." notas_de_prensa_archivo
