Midwest Airlines Launches New Small Business Program

/noticias.info/ SAN DIEGO, Aug. 16 -- Small businesses will benefit from a new program launched today by Midwest Airlines. The program -- called Best Care Business -- provides incentives and awards for businesses and corporations that spend $100,000 or less annually on travel with the Milwaukee-based airline.

Best Care Business, which officially takes off September 1, 2005, provides small businesses the opportunity to earn points for doing business with Midwest Airlines. The points can then be redeemed for awards specifically geared to business travelers, including executive-tier membership in the airline's Midwest Miles frequent flyer program, membership in its Best Care Club airport lounge, increased flexibility with nonrefundable tickets, and more.

"Midwest Airlines gained its reputation by providing business travelers with an exceptional air travel experience," explained Randall K. Smith, vice president of sales and distribution. "This program extends that care and concern for customers by providing small businesses the ability to enjoy benefits that may previously have been out of their reach."

Midwest Airlines introduced the Best Care Business program at a news conference for corporate travel managers attending the National Business Travel Association Annual Convention and Trade Show at the San Diego Convention Center. Small businesses interested in learning more about the program may contact Chris Magulski at Chris.Magulski@midwestairlines.com.

Midwest Airlines (NYSE: MEH) features jet service throughout the United States, including Milwaukee's most daily nonstop flights and best schedule to major destinations. Skyway Airlines, Inc. -- its wholly owned subsidiary -- operates as Midwest Connect, which offers connections to Midwest Airlines as well as point-to-point service between select markets on regional jet and turboprop aircraft. Together, the airlines offer service to 50 cities, including Houston Hobby -- the airline's newest destination.
