UEFA Champions League: Schalke suffer Hoogland setback

Three appearances
The 20-year-old suffered the setback playing for the club's second-string side against VfB Fichte Bielefeld last weekend. The injury is a blow for the German youngster, who made three Bundesliga appearances last season as Ralf Rangnick's side claimed second place behind FC Bayern München.

Six-week layoff
