HELIOS : HELIOS AIRWAYS OPENS FAMILY ASSISTANCE CENTRE

/noticias.info/ Helios Airways Ltd has today opened a Family Assistance Centre to offer information and support to families of the victims of the Flight ZU522 tragedy.

The Assistance Centre has been established at the Hilton Park Hotel, Grivas Dighenis Avenue in Nicosia. The Centre is staffed by trained Family Assistance professionals who are experienced in helping people who have lost family members in traumatic circumstances.

Helios Airways will provide daily information updates to the families concerning the progress of the recovery operations at the accident site in Greece. Information will also be provided about the identification and return of their loved ones, and families will have the opportunity to make any other necessary arrangements.

Family members and close friends of the passengers and crew of ZU522 are invited to visit the Assistance Centre at any time. The daily briefings will be limited to family members and close friends of the passengers and crew.

Helios Airways Chairman, Mr Andreas Drakou, said: "It is very important that we provide every support to the people who lost their loved ones in this terrible accident. The loss of flight ZU522 was a tragedy for all of us, and we are committed to doing everything possible to alleviate their suffering".

Helios Airways has expressed its deep sorrow and regret for the loss of flight ZU522 and is working closely with investigating authorities in Greece to help to determine the cause of the accident.
