EAST LINE: “Metropol” Hotel Hosts an Annual Forum “Travel Routes. Winter 2006”

/noticias.info/ The IV Forum “Travel Routes. Winter 2006”, organized by Domodedovo International Airport, will be held in “Metropol” Hotel on 18 August 2005. It will bring together more than 60 Russian and foreign companies including tourist agencies. The list of participants include “Acent Travel”, “Capital Tour”, “Tez Tour”, “Thai Airways”, “China Eastern”, “Sibir” and “KrasAir” airlines, and many others.

At the forum Domodedovo Airport will make a presentation of its new services for tour operators and passengers, as well as of its long-term plans of the Airport complex development. Notably, a tourist area equipped with 25 temporary counters was set up this summer. The main advantages of the area’s operation are reduction of time required for check-in, improvement of quality of servicing passengers of charter and scheduled flights, creating favourable conditions for tour operators.

Apart from this, tour operators implement a scheme of payment for services provided to air passengers at Paveletsky Terminal and for client’s transfer to the Airport by AeroExpress train. This scheme allows tour operators to offer their clients a complete package including transfer to/from the Airport, optimization of transfer time to/from Domodedovo Airport and reduction of time at the Airport that in the end prevents passengers from being late for their flights and increases the frequency of AeroExpress services.

Domodedovo Airport also implements a technology of servicing children’s groups, which regulates management of servicing groups of children departing from or arriving at Domodedovo by international or domestic flights.

“Domodedovo Airhotel” offers special rates for tourist operators and air carriers to accommodate tourist groups and crew members. Comfortable rooms meet the international standards applied to four-star hotels.

Along with the Forum “Travel Routes. Winter 2006” Domodedovo International Airport co-ordinates an international Interline-forum “Domodedovo Connections” and the conference “Air Rail Service”, each of them providing for new solutions and solving problem in open discussion.
