DRAGONAIR DISPLAYS CAN-DO SPIRIT IN SHANGHAI
/noticias.info/ (HONG KONG) An eight-metre-wide model of a Dragonair A330, built entirely of Coke cans featuring an image of one of the airline's aircraft, is now on display in Shanghai as part of a competition.
Visitors to Shanghai Grand Gateway between August 16-26 or to Dragonair's website between August 18-31, will be asked to guess the number of cans used to make the model, which is one eighth the size of an actual A330. The 20 people who guess the actual number or are closest to it, receive a prize of one round-trip ticket to any Dragonair destination and a model of Dragonair's vividly painted 20th Anniversary Aircraft.
A picture of the Coke can model will be featured at www.dragonair.com for those unable to visit Shanghai to enter the competition.
"The launch of this fun competition coincides with the start of sales of these special cans of Coke Light and Coke Light Lemon featuring an image of a Dragonair aircraft in Shanghai and the Huadong region of the mainland," explained Singmay Chou, General Manager, Marketing. "The cans could become something of a collectors' item given that they are only available in a limited geographical location.
"We are delighted to have partnered with Coca-Cola on this initiative, given that both our brands have an appealing image that is young and energetic."
The results of the competition will be announced on September 15 at Dragonair's website. notas_de_prensa_archivo
