Wayne Routledge will have to wait longer than expected to return to action for Tottenham Routledge suffers further injury setback

/noticias.info/ Wayne Routledge will miss two months of action for Tottenham Hotspur FC after suffering a foot stress fracture. The livewire winger was initially expected to be sidelined for a fortnight with the injury but further medical examinations have revealed an extended period of rest is required for the summer signing from Crystal Palace FC. "He has a stress fracture of the foot and the doctor has since spoken with us to confirm that it was worse than we first thought," said head coach Martin Jol. "He is out for up to two months now.''

In Scotland, Dennis Wyness has rejoined former club Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC on a season-long loan deal from Heart of Midlothian FC. The striker has fallen out of favour at Tynecastle following the appointment of George Burley as manager, and now wants to try and revive his career at the Caledonian Stadium where he scored 80 goals in his previous stint with the Highland club. He made his first comeback appearance today as a second-half substitute in the 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock FC.

Zoran Maric has been named as the new coach of FK Vojvodina, suceeding Milan Djuricic who was sacked two days ago following a string of poor results which has seen the club drop to the bottom of the Serbia and Montenegro First League table. Maric was a player with Vojvodina in the late 1980s and worked last season at city rivals Novi Sad of the second division.
