LIVERPOOL FC : RAFA HIGH PRAISE FOR WARNOCK

/noticias.info/ Rafael Benitez has praised the early season form of Stephen Warnock and says he has been one of the most consistent players in his team.
Warnock started the new Premiership season in preference to John Arne Riise at Middlesbrough last Saturday and the Liverpool manager was impressed with his performance.

Benitez said: "Warnock is playing very well. I have spoken to him about his role in the team and he's responded. His form is one of the reasons we've improved our performances.

"He brings a high level of competitiveness to the side. You must remember although he has been at the club a long time, like a lot of players it was Warnock's first season in the Premiership last year.

"He has more confidence now and I think he will be more consistent. I've told him I'm happy with him and he's a player who wants to learn every time he plays."
