"It was an open match and I'm very pleased about this victory. Inter played an excellent game, bearing in mind that we were also away from home, and deserved to win this Super Cup.

"Great merit to the boys for this victory because they wanted this trophy and they always try to improve. Like I said after winning the Coppa Italia, this trophy should be dedicated to those people who put in a lot of effort like Massimo Moratti and his family, and to all our fans. The season about to begin will be very important for us because it will be very tough."

There's no rest for the Nerazzurri, with Shakhtar at the Meazza on Wednesday. "We'll start thinking about that tomorrow, we know it won't be an easy game," Mancini added.
