PGA : Storms play havoc with Woods round

/noticias.info/ Tiger Woods had his march to what he hopes will be his 10th World Golf Championship victory in 20 starts twice interrupted by storms on Saturday.

Play in the third round of the NEC Invitational in Akron was suspended at 12.44pm with the world number one two ahead of Ireland's Paul McGinley and his fellow American Kenny Perry.

It resumed at 3.55pm, but after a mere 18 minutes' action was halted again as the next lightning cell made rapid progress towards the Firestone Country Club. In that brief time, however, Woods' advantage was wiped out.
