PGA : Trio share Seattle classic lead

/noticias.info/ Relative unknown David Eger is in position for his second Champions Tour title. However, he will have to stare down battle-tested Craig Stadler to do so.

Eger, 53, used a birdie blitz and a closing eagle on Saturday to score his best round of the season -an eight-under 64 - to forge a tie with Stadler and Morris Hatalsky at the $1.6 million Boeing Greater Seattle Classic.

"I hit a good drive at number 18 and a good five-wood to about four feet," Eger said of his closing eagle. "But my nine-iron on number 17 and putt for bogey was every bit as good a shot as number 18."
