UEFA Champion's League: Vaughan tied to Everton until 2008

/noticias.info/ Everton FC striker James Vaughan, the English Premiership's youngest-ever goalscorer, has signed his first professional contract with the Merseyside club.

Milestone strike
Vaughan struck on his top-flight debut against Crystal Palace FC last April, aged just 16 years and 271 days, bettering the record set by Newcastle United FC's James Milner, then of Leeds United AFC. The English Under-17 international has since made one other substitute appearance for Everton, who have rewarded his progress with a three-year contract which runs until the close of the 2007/08 campaign.

'A lot to learn'
