Football Europe: Jarosík says farewell to Chelsea

/noticias.info/ Chelsea FC midfielder Jirí Jarosík has joined Birmingham City FC on a season-long loan with an option of a permanent transfer.

Short stay
The 27-year-old Czech international made just three starts for the champions in a total of 14 Premiership appearances last season. He had moved to west London from PFC CSKA Moskva for €4.3m in January.

Powerful performer
Birmingham manager Steve Bruce said: "He's a powerful midfielder who's very good in the air. At his best I think he's an attacking midfield player who likes to get on the end of crosses."
