Nortel Marks Milestone of 5,000th Optical Metro System Shipped in Japan

Nortel Optical Technology Delivers High-Speed Broadband Services

The shipment was made to NTT Communications, one of the leading service providers in Japan.

Using industry leading solutions like Optical Metro 3000, Nortel provides broadband infrastructure solutions like optical Ethernet and storage area networking (SAN) to service providers, large enterprises and local governments in Japan to support delivery of an increasing number of broadband services to subscribers.
