LIVERPOOL FC: HYYPIA: EURO JUSTICE HAS PREVAILED

/noticias.info/ Sami Hyypia insists justice has prevailed as European Champions Liverpool prepare to discover who they'll be drawn against in the lucrative group phase of this season's Champions League.
Sami Hyypia is delighted that the Reds have been allowed to defend their crown but says that he and his team-mates were far from happy with the decision that has forced them to play six games before reaching this stage.

"It has certainly been a long run for us to get into the Champions League but now we are in the group stages we are happy," Hyypia told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"When UEFA put us into the first qualifying round no player was happy with that because it's strange to play a competitive and official game at the start of July.

"We have now played six qualifying games which isn't normal but we are happy to get the opportunity to defend our title. We are in the group stage now and we want to do well again.

"It will be very interesting to see who we get in the draw as there are some very good teams in it again. We can draw an English club so you never know who you might get!" notas_de_prensa_archivo
