LIVERPOOL FC: CROUCH TARGETS TOTTENHAM RETURN

Peter Crouch has set his sights on a return to first team action at Spurs on September 10 after making a successful comeback for the reserves last night.

/noticias.info/ Crouch returned from hamstring trouble to play the final 25 minutes of the reserves 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion.

Crouch told Liverpoolfc.tv: "I have had a couple of days training and the plan was for me to play for 25 minutes. I felt good and I came through without any problems and I now want to get myself fit and ready for the Tottenham game.

"With the international break I will be able to get another week's training under my belt. It was frustrating being injured so soon after arriving at Liverpool but I always knew I was suspended for the first two Premiership games anyway.
