Secretary-General condemns bomb attacks in Iraq

/noticias.info/ Secretary-General Kofi Annan strongly has condemned the series of bomb attacks that took place across Iraq today, describing them as acts of terrorism that no cause or belief could justify.

"The Secretary General heard with great sadness the news of the series of attacks in Baghdad today, in which more than 100 people are known to have been killed and even greater numbers wounded. He vehemently condemns the use of terror and indiscriminate violence against civilians, which no cause or belief can possibly justify," his spokesman said.

Mr. Annan extended his deepest sympathies to the Government of Iraq and to the bereaved families of all the victims. notas_de_prensa_archivo
