CHELSEA FC: Team news: Charlton v Chelsea

/noticias.info/ Chelsea make just one change from the team that beat Anderlecht midweek. Continuing their recent rotation in league games, Hernán Crespo is given a start in attack with Didier Drogba on the bench.

William Gallas again fills the left-back position so Ricardo Carvalho has maintained his place in the centre of defence.

Although Charlton captain Matt Holland has recovered from a rib injury, he only makes the bench so Bryan Hughes is the player selected to take the place of Alexey Smertin. The Russian international is not permitted to play in this fixture under the terms of his loan from Chelsea.
