INTER PUT THREE PAST LECCE
/noticias.info/ MILAN - Obafemi Martins scored his first league goal of the season, Dejan Stankovic his first for Inter since last November and Julio Cruz his fourth in three games to give the Nerazzurri a comfortable 3-0 home win against Lecce on Saturday evening.
Inter were rarely troubled by Gregucci's Giallorossi and took a 25th-minute lead when Martins sprinted between Abruzzese and Stovini to meet Cambiasso's deft through ball then with the outside of his left foot flicked it over Sicignano and in at the far post.
Four minutes later Dejan Stankovic refound his scoring touch, sliding Zé Maria 's cross over the line from close range at the far post to give the Nerazzurri a two-goal cushion.
Second-half substitute Julio Cruz made extra sure of the points six minutes from time. On for Martins, El Jardinero controlled Veron's floated cross with his chest then with just the Lecce keeper to beat smashed past Sicignano to put the Nerazzurri on top of the Serie A table ahead of Sunday's Week 3 matches.
