ARSENAL: Loan update: Find out how the Gunners are faring

Arsenal have five players out on loan at present. Here's a round-up of how they are faring.

DAVID BENTLEY

David has made a steady start to his sesaon-long spell at Blackburn Rovers, starting three of his new side's opening eight Premiership fixtures after joining late in the summer. Having spent last season on loan with Norwich City in the Premiership, this will be the second consecutive campaign of regular top-flight, first-team football for the Peterborough-born attacking midfielder. David started Rovers' recent 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford as well as Blackburn's last game - a 2-0 win over West Brom.

JEREMIE ALIADIERE

Jeremie initially joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal during the summer, before making an early return south and to West Ham. As a result, the young French forward missed most of the Hammers' pre-season preparations and has yet to start a game for Alan Pardew's men. He has made two substitute appearances so far, playing the final half-an-hour in the home defeat to Bolton and coming on for the final few minutes at Craven Cottage in the win over Fulham.

GRAHAM STACK

Graham joined Championship side Reading on loan during the summer after spending last season in the same division, but with Millwall. The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international finds himself vying with American Marcus Hahnemann for the No 1 jersey at the Madejski Stadium. Graham has not played in the league so far this term, but did start the Carling Cup win over Swansea City in August.

JUSTIN HOYTE

Justin joined Sunderland after the start of the season and made his debut for the Black Cats at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea. Despite the 2-0 defeat, Hoyte did well and largely contained the threat of Arjen Robben with a minimum of fuss. The England Under-21 international has started every Premiership match for the Wearsiders since he joined the club on loan for the season. In his short time at Sunderland, Hoyte has exhibited different sides to his game, clearing Ronnie Wallwork's effort off the goalline against West Brom and racing forward to start the move from which Tommy Miller gave Sunderland the lead against West Ham.

RYAN SMITH

Ryan joined Championship side Leicester City recently after starring for Arsenal's Reserves in the early part of the season. He made his debut in the Foxes' 1-1 draw at Derby County, coming off the bench for a lively second-half debut. The young left-winger tested the goalkeeper and was involved in Leicester's best attacking moves of the game. Unfortunately, Ryan picked up a three-match suspension playing for Arsenal's second string and, as a consequence, will miss Leicester's next three fixtures. notas_de_prensa_archivo
