EAST LINE: “Domodedovo Transfer Services” Project Entered Active Stage
/noticias.info/ Domodedovo International Airport along with the Transport Clearing House and airlines that perform flights from the airport have entered upon a large-scale implementation of “Domodedovo Transfer Services” project.
The project is aimed at creating a transfer route network with convenient connections and attractive through fares. The project was launched in June 2005 and has entered an active stage now.
At present, the programme covers 37 destinations abroad (including those to the CIS countries), for example, such as London, Tel-Aviv, Frankfurt, Alma-ata, Tashkent, Kiev, as well as a number of regional routes, among which are Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and other Russian cities.
Such air carriers as “Tranaero”, “Perm Airlines”, “Volga-Aviaexpress”, “UTAir”, “Kavminvodyavia”, “Altyn Air”, “Kuban Airlines”, “KD Avia”, “Aeromost-Kharkov”, “Bashkir Airlines”, “Polet”, “Moskovia Airlines”, “VIM Airlines” take an active part in the project.
Implementation of “Domodedovo Transfer Services” project gives air passengers a number of advantages and first of all lower fares, an opportunity to choose the type of aircraft and class of service, time saving, and extension options of flights’ destinations from the point of departure.
The airport in its turn will offer air passengers re-handling of their luggage on domestic and international flights for minimum time, servicing in transfer halls and a wide range of cafes, bars and specialized shops.
Registration of transfer transportations is carried out using forms of CJSC “Transport Clearing House”. More detailed information on terms of transportation and offered through fares is available at the air transportation sales agents.
Domodedovo International Airport plans to expand its route network and the number of connections up to 1500. According to the forecasts, share of transfer passenger traffic in the total volume of passenger traffic will reach 35% by 2010. Therefore, “Domodedovo Transfer Services” is one of the most promising projects implemented by the airport with support of its partners- airliners.
