INTER: CORDOBA: "THERE'S AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW"
/noticias.info/ "None of us have even thought for a second about giving up now," said Ivan Ramiro Cordoba to Inter.it the day after Inter's defeat to Roma. "We have dropped nine points in these first nine championship matches, but we have five more than we had at the same point last season, when in the second half we collected many points and concluded by winning the Coppa Italia. Today I think that this is the example to follow."
The Colombian defender continued: "We must understand and reflect, but react immediately, with conviction and without fear, like we did in the second half last night. We were three goals down but we didn't let the result affect us. We continued playing and if we had drawn - and we had three or four chances to make it 3-3 - we would be here talking about a feat. So if in forty-five minutes we almost came back from three goals down against the best Roma so far this season, then we can do a lot, lot more in (the remaining) twenty-nine matches. It all depends on us, and now we want to continue to give our best in every match without looking at the league table. Then we will see where we are compared with the others at the end." notas_de_prensa_archivo
