PGA: Dougherty hoping to recover

/noticias.info/ Nick Dougherty is hoping a bout of food poisoning will not ruin his bid for a second victory of the year in the Volvo China Open.

Dougherty was taken ill while on holiday in the Philippines last week and spent Wednesday morning in a local hospital rather than taking part in the pre-tournament pro-am in Shenzhen.

Dougherty, winner of the Caltex Masters in Singapore in January, said: "They gave me a drip with a concentrated injection in it which will act quicker than tablet form so I'm hoping I will be fine." notas_de_prensa_archivo
