CHELSEA FC: Football Icon - And then there were three

/noticias.info/ Chelsea’s quest to find the British star of the next generation continues tonight as the final three chasing the big Football Icon prize are decided.

The sixth programme of the talent series Football Icon is being broadcast on Sky One at 7pm on Sunday.

Twelve boys were originally selected to join Chelsea’s youth academy after a nationwide search involving thousands of young hopefuls. After trials and tribulations both on and off the pitches at the academy HQ, those twelve have steadily been cut to six.

The standard required to remain in the Football Icon chase is increasing all the time and tonight the expert eyes, including England and Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins (pictured), make the tough decision to halve the field.

It is from the remaining three that the winner of a professional contract with Chelsea will come, and the chance to become the next Football Icon.
